If you love golf, ice skating, skiing, paragliding, fishing, mountaineering, trekking, sightseeing or just relaxing then Manali is the holiday and vacation destination for you. Manali is located on the Western side of the Himalayas mountains with a valley of gods, the Kullu valley been known to be called the valley of gods.

The valley of gods was regarded by the ancient Hindus as the ultimate limit of the habitation of humans. Some of the ancient Hindus include Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Kulantapitha as well as Vishnu Purana. The valley of gods spreads on either sideĀ of River Beas. This valley is on the upper sides of the river. Some of the breathtaking places in Manali include; Kothi From Manali to Kothi, it is about twelve kilometers.

It is a picturesque spot though it is quiet. The Rest House demands views of the Himalayas mountains and overlooks the narrow valley. Also in Kothi, River Beas flows through a subterranean passage which is a deep gorge. If you love rock pigeons, you will easily find them in Kothi. They are easily hunted.

Solang Valley Do you want to see the snowcapped mountain peaks and glaciers of the Himalayas Mountains? If the answer is yes, then I advise you to visit Manali and especially Solang Valley. Solang Valley also has holding camps that are excellent and exquisite for trekking parties. The slopes of the Himalayas mountains provide awesome good skiing slopes. Rahla Falls Near these falls, you can easily find charming spots for picnics.

Manali Sanctuary This is a sanctuary in its own league as it goes past Dhoorngri temple. It also has a maple forest, walnut, horse chestnut, kali and a dense deodar. For those who love camping, you can easily camp in tents at Galiani and Lambadug thatch. Lush green alpine glaciers and pastures lie beyond Galiani Thatch, you can easily spot a brown bear, monal bear or musk deer.
